Represented GC of condominium project in San Jose, who was sued by the homeowners association (“HOA”) for alleged construction defects. The Firm utilized expert witnesses to develop unique defenses to the plaintiff’s claims. In addition, expert testimony in depositions further buttressed the limited liability of the GC. Facing a potential defeat via dispositive motion, the HOA significantly lowered its settlement demand, and the Firm successfully obtained a very favorable settlement for its client.
