Large insurance Plaintiff sought over $500,000 in damages against multiple skilled nursing facility (“SNF”) clients. The insurer obtained default judgments against the SNF Defendants. Result: The firm was retained as defense counsel and successfully moved the Court to relieve the SNF Defendants from default. Thereafter, the Plaintiff agreed to settle for a sum of $15,000 in exchange for a full dismissal against the firm’s SNF clients.
