Christopher Stark brings a practical, business-aware perspective to litigation and counseling matters involving financial institutions, private companies, and individuals. His background includes state and federal court experience, as well as in-house work for a mortgage loan originator, giving him insight into both dispute strategy and the day-to-day legal needs of regulated businesses. Outside of his legal practice, Christopher enjoys cycling and hiking in the Sierra Nevada mountain range.

Christopher's Representative Experience

  • Successfully co-tried ten-day bench trial on behalf of affordable housing community acquirer brought by a competing purchaser of a property avoiding millions of dollars in requested damages sought by the competitor.
  • Successfully obtained favorable settlement for Bank client after being brought into the case on the eve of trial following a failed motion for summary judgment made by prior counsel.
  • Successfully removed Bank clients from multiple cases at the pleadings stage through repeated demurrers before costs of discovery were incurred.
  • Successfully defended multiple fronts of litigation from a single party that resulted in that party being classified as a vexatious litigant requiring the party to obtain court permission prior to filing any new litigation in California.
