Scott Halberstadt brings more than three decades of seasoned legal judgment to complex disputes, risk management, regulatory compliance, and client counseling. His experience includes guiding private entities through contract negotiations, operational risk, privacy obligations, workplace safety issues, environmental requirements, administrative matters, and high-stakes litigation. In 2025, Scott was promoted to General Counsel, reflecting the trust placed in his judgment, leadership, and ability to provide practical guidance on sophisticated legal and business issues.

Litigation – General Commercial
  • Successfully defended a $6 million suit against one of the largest low-cost senior housing owners by a rival company.
    Successfully defended a former CFO from claims brought by the bankruptcy trustee seeking a six-figure judgment for professional negligence and fraudulent transfer.
  • Successfully prosecuted an action against the seller of commercial real property who failed to disclose known soils movement and foundation subsidence.
  • Successfully prosecuted an action against a car dealership and manufacturer for failing to properly perform repairs on an exotic car resulting in its destruction by fire.
Arbitration and Dispute Resolution
  • Successfully prosecuted an arbitration action against a construction contractor due to the contractor’s delay in completion and overbilling.
